Yarzeh: Caretaker Minister of National Defense, Maurice Sleem, on Wednesday met with Sweden's newly appointed Ambassador to Lebanon, Jessica Svärdström, at his office in Yarzeh. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was part of Ambassador Svärdström's introductory diplomatic engagements following her recent appointment. The discussions primarily focused on the general situation in Lebanon in the wake of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. Both parties exchanged views on the regional developments and explored ways to enhance cooperation between Lebanon and Sweden. The meeting underscored the importance of the ceasefire in stabilizing the region and the role of international partnerships in supporting Lebanon's security and development goals.
