Balamand: Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, John X, received Minister of National Defense Michel Mnassah in Balamand today. The minister offered his condolences to the Patriarch for the victims of the massacre at St. Elias Church in Doueila, while also expressing his strong condemnation of this horrific act.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Patriarch John X expressed gratitude to Minister Mnassah for his solidarity during this challenging time. The Patriarch conveyed his hope that the forthcoming days would bring positive developments to Lebanon, despite the recent tragedy.
Furthermore, the Patriarch emphasized the critical role of the government, in cooperation with all constitutional institutions, in advancing the nation and effectively confronting the challenges it faces.
