Russian Transport Minister Commits Suicide in His Car Hours After His Dismissal

Odintsovo: Russian media reported on Monday that the Russian Minister of Transport committed suicide, hours after his dismissal by President Vladimir Putin, according to Sky News Arabia. The TASS news agency quoted the Russian Investigative Committee as saying that Roman Starovoit was found dead in his personal car in Odintsovo.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Russian Investigative Committee, stated that the former minister's body was found with a gunshot wound inside his car. She added, "Investigative bodies are working at the scene to determine the circumstances of the accident."
