Beirut: Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bsat received today a delegation from the Qatar Investment Authority, as part of their search for investment opportunities in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on exploring potential sectors for Qatari investments in the Lebanese market. The discussions aimed to strengthen economic ties between Lebanon and Qatar by identifying mutual areas of interest.
The delegation from the Qatar Investment Authority expressed interest in various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and technology, which are seen as promising fields for investment. Both parties agreed to continue dialogues to further explore these opportunities.
Minister Bsat highlighted the importance of foreign investment for Lebanon’s economic recovery and emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a favorable environment for investors. The meeting marks a step forward in fostering international partnerships and attracting foreign capital to Lebanon.
