Beirut: Education Minister Dr. Rima Karami on Monday affirmed that her handling of full-time appointments at the Lebanese University has been based on clear, transparent and fair criteria to ensure eligible professors' rights and institutional stability. She said the long-standing reliance on hourly contracts undermined academic quality and social protections.
