CAIRO: Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi emphasized the necessity of a coordinated international effort to resolve the ongoing crisis in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank. He urged participation from all global parties, including the European Union, to facilitate an end to hostilities and increase aid to the affected regions. According to Kuwait News Agency, President Al-Sisi's remarks came during a meeting with Manfred Weber, President of the European People's Party. During the discussions, both leaders focused on the latest developments in the region. Presidential Spokesperson Ahmad Fahmi reported that Al-Sisi reiterated that a two-state solution, leading to the establishment of a Palestinian State in line with international agreements, is crucial for achieving long-term peace and stability. Weber expressed appreciation for Egypt's consistent efforts to maintain stability and foster cooperation in the Middle East. He highlighted the positive trajectory of economic relations between Egypt and the Europ ean Union, noting an increase in European investments that serve to benefit both parties. The meeting underscored the strengthening ties between the EU and Egypt, reflecting ongoing cooperation and mutual interests, Fahmi noted during the press conference.
