Abu dhabi: Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, participated in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, held alongside the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event gathered heads of state and government, ministers, senior officials, and international experts to address global sustainability priorities. The programme included over 30 specialised sessions that focused on the future of energy systems, water and food security, environmental protection, and the application of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to aid sustainable development.
Minister Humaidan stated that Bahrain's involvement in the event underscores the Kingdom's dedication to sustainability in the electricity and energy sectors. He emphasized Bahrain's commitment to enhancing resource efficiency and implementing modern technological solutions that align with global best practices.
