The embassy extended warm greetings to the people and the State of Lebanon, emphasizing the long-standing relationship between the two nations.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Brazil recognized Lebanon's independence in 1944 and established its Legation in Beirut the following year. This year marks the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brazil and Lebanon. The Embassy of Brazil highlighted the historic bonds shared by the two countries, noting that Brazil is home to the largest Lebanese community abroad, which has greatly contributed to Brazil's social, economic, and cultural life.
The embassy underscored the strong partnership built over eight decades, rooted in the mutual affinity between Brazilian and Lebanese societies. On November 22, the Embassy of Brazil took the opportunity to reaffirm its dedication to Lebanon's peace, stability, and prosperity, extending heartfelt wishes to Lebanon on its Independence Day.
