Aitaroun: The enemy forces have escalated their military activities, targeting several towns in southern Lebanon, including Aitaroun and Rashaya Al-Fakhar. The latest wave of aggression commenced with a dawn air raid on the town of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district, marking another breach of the existing ceasefire agreement. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the town of Yaroun endured heavy sniper fire from enemy soldiers positioned on the southern perimeter of the town from dawn until this morning. The sniper attacks have raised concerns among residents, who are already reeling from the ongoing conflict. Later in the morning, around 11:15, the outskirts of Aitaroun were bombarded by multiple artillery shells originating from enemy positions across the border. Additionally, the 'Al-Gharb' area near Rashaya Al-Fakhar was struck by an artillery shell, further indicating a broadening pattern of aggression in the region. The continued hostilities underscore the fragile nature of the ceasefire and hi ghlight the urgent need for diplomatic efforts to restore peace and stability in the affected areas. Residents of these towns are calling for immediate international intervention to prevent further escalation and protect civilian lives.
