Amman: Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Bassam Sabbagh, engaged in a phone conversation with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Al-Safadi, to address the repercussions of recent terrorist attacks by the Al-Nusra Front and its associated organizations in northern Syria. Sabbagh reiterated the Syrian government's commitment to protecting its citizens and eliminating terrorism to restore security and stability across Syria. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the call, Al-Safadi expressed Jordan's concern over the ongoing developments. He emphasized Jordan's support for Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, and its commitment to eliminating threats to Syria's security and stability. Both ministers agreed to maintain communication and collaborate on efforts to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.
