EU’s Kallas Labels Middle East Developments as ‘Perilous’, Urges Civilian Protection

Brussels: European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has termed the recent developments in the Middle East as "perilous," emphasizing the need for civilian protection and adherence to international law.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Kallas communicated with Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and other regional ministers, coordinating efforts with Arab partners to seek a diplomatic resolution. The EU is also facilitating the departure of its citizens, as non-essential personnel are being withdrawn from the region through the bloc's consular network.
