Alaa Nasr el-Din, member of the Wood Working and Furniture Chamber at the Federation of Industries, said on Saturday 7/9/2024 Egypt's Digital Industrial Platform will help put into effect the comprehensive plan to develop the industrial sector in Egypt and will keep pace with modern technological development. In press statements, he said the platform plays an effective role in increasing exports, luring more investments, enhancing efforts to localize industry, overcoming bureaucratic measures and offering facilities to investors to help them access all services online. He added that the platform facilitates all measures for investors starting from reserving lands till obtaining necessary licenses. He said the first phase of the platform includes a number of digital services for industrial investors, the most important of which is the service of allocating industrial lands through the investment map, the service of issuing an operating license by notification and the annual follow-up service, adding that el ectronic payment services through the Egyptian Industrial Platform is also activated. On Sunday, the Ministry of Trade and Industry launched the first phase of the Egypt Digital Industrial Platform on Sunday in cooperation with the Financial Institutions Operation Technology Company (E-Finance).
