Beirut: Finance Minister, Yassine Jaber, on Friday hosted discussions at the ministry with World Bank Regional Director Jean-Christophe Carret and the World Bank Group's new Country Manager for Lebanon, Enrique Blanco Armas. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Yassine emphasized the sustained cooperation between Lebanon and the World Bank, highlighting potential avenues for future collaboration. This engagement underscores the ongoing efforts to support Lebanon's development through international partnerships.
Additionally, Minister Jaber met with representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The talks revolved around the services the EBRD intends to offer Lebanon, particularly focusing on aiding the private sector involved in reconstruction and development initiatives.
