Floods in Eastern Spain Claim 51 Lives.

Valencia: Official Spanish media reported that floods in eastern Spain have resulted in the deaths of 51 individuals, with six people still missing. The devastating floods have severely impacted the region, particularly affecting the eastern provinces of Valencia and Albacete. According to Kuwait News Agency, the heavy rainfall has left hundreds of people stranded, whether in their vehicles, homes, or trapped under debris caused by the floods. The provinces have also suffered substantial property losses, and railway operations have been disrupted. The Spanish army has responded by deploying 1,000 soldiers to Valencia to assist local authorities with rescue operations. So far, hundreds of people have been rescued from the flood-affected areas. Meteorological services reported that some parts of Valencia experienced 491 millimeters of rainfall within just eight hours, an amount typically seen over an entire year.
