Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Thursday called Rwanda's Foreign Minister Vincent Biruta. In the phone call, Safadi expressed the Kingdom's condolences over the victims of the floods that hit several regions in the north, south and west of Rwanda, and resulted in a number of casualties and injuries. Safadi reaffirmed Jordan's solidarity with Rwanda and its readiness, under the direction of His Majesty King Abdullah, to provide any possible assistance to face the consequences of the floods and landslides caused by the torrential rains, which claimed the lives of 130 people, destroyed more than 5,000 houses, and damaged more than 2,000 other houses.
