Harissa: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji visited today the Papal Nunciature in Harissa, where he offered his condolences to Apostolic Nuncio Paolo Borgia on the passing of Pope Francis.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Raji expressed his heartfelt sympathies in the book of condolences, addressing his message to Monsignor Paolo Borgia, the Apostolic Nunciature in Lebanon, the Holy See, the Lebanese people, and Catholics worldwide. He acknowledged the profound impact of the Pope's passing on believers of various faiths and humanists who value justice and equality.
Raji highlighted the enduring legacy of Pope Francis, noting his commitment to compassion, charity, and openness. He emphasized the Pope's role as a guiding light for people of goodwill and concluded with a prayer for the Pope's soul and a wish that Lebanon remains in his prayers.
