Beirut: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned in the strongest terms Israel's repeated attacks on Lebanon's sovereignty, the latest of which targeted the Msaileh area of Sidon District, causing extensive damage and leading to the martyrdom of one Lebanese citizen and the injury of seven others.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ministry stated that this attack constitutes a new blatant violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the cessation of hostilities agreement, which Israel continuously refuses to abide by.
The Ministry emphasized that these ongoing attacks hinder the national efforts made by the army to implement its plan to restrict weapons to the legitimate forces and maintain security and stability in southern Lebanon.
