Amman: The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates' Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs is actively investigating the disappearance of a Jordanian citizen who went missing while performing Umrah rituals at the Grand Mosque in Mecca. The ministry is coordinating with Saudi authorities to locate the individual. According to Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Sufian Al-Qudah, the official spokesperson for the ministry, confirmed that efforts are underway to track down the missing citizen. The ministry is collaborating with the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs and the Jordanian Consulate General in Jeddah to facilitate the search. Ambassador Al-Qudah further stated that the ministry remains committed to working with all involved parties to ensure the safe return of the individual to Jordan. The Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs is maintaining regular contact with the citizen's family to keep them informed of developments in the search efforts.
