French Ambassador Honors Middle East Airlines for Outstanding Service Amid Challenges

Beirut: French Ambassador to Lebanon, Herv© Magro, and his spouse hosted a ceremony at the French Embassy's Pine Residence in Beirut to honor Middle East Airlines (MEA) - the national carrier of Lebanon. The event was attended by Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, MEA Chairman, Mohammad El-Hout, members of the airline's board, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makieh, and several department heads, along with pilots and cabin crew members.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the ceremony, Ambassador Magro presented a commemorative plaque to Mohammad El-Hout. The plaque was inscribed with a message extending the French Embassy's gratitude to all MEA employees for their outstanding and courageous efforts over the past months, carried out under extremely difficult and perilous conditions.
