Beirut: A French judicial delegation met on Tuesday morning with Lebanon's Public Prosecutor Judge Jamal Hajjar, followed by an extensive meeting with Judge Tarek Bitar, the lead investigator in the Beirut Port explosion case. The meetings were centered around the exchange of information regarding the ongoing investigation into the explosion.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, while the French delegation has not yet provided the French technical report to Lebanese authorities, they are scheduled to reconvene with Judge Bitar tomorrow for further discussions on the matter. The delegation's schedule also includes meetings with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Suhail Abboud, and the Minister of Justice, Adel Nassar, set for tomorrow before their departure to France on Thursday.
