Fuel Prices Rise in Lebanon as Gasoline and Diesel Costs Surge

Beirut: Fuel prices edged up in Lebanon on Monday as the prices of 95- and 98-octane gasoline increased by 24,000 Lebanese pounds per 20-litre canister. The price of diesel increased by 66,000 pounds, while the price of household gas rose by 18,000 pounds. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the new prices are as follows: 95-octane gasoline is now priced at 2,468,000 Lebanese pounds, and 98-octane gasoline is at 2,486,000 Lebanese pounds. Diesel has reached a price of 2,342,000 Lebanese pounds, and household gas is now at 1,175,000 Lebanese pounds.
