FUJAIRAH: The Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed the current preparations for the launch of the Dibba Ramadan Festival at the Dibba Exhibition Centre, which is affiliated with the chamber. The discussion took place during the board's fifth regular meeting, chaired by Suroor Hamad Al Zuhari, Deputy Chairman of Fujairah Chamber's Board of Directors. The festival, which is scheduled to start on 14th March and continue throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan aims to support the retail sector and promote commercial and tourism activities. During the meeting, the board discussed the services provided to the Chamber's members and highlighted the importance of digital transformation and smart applications for developing skills, making appropriate strategic decisions, and predicting future business trends, to enhance the chamber's ability to respond to rapid changes in the business environment. The board also discussed the recommendations of the chamber's specialist committe es and the possibility of establishing a market to support local agricultural and animal products as part of the chamber's efforts to promote business sectors, highlight their role in comprehensive economic integration, and achieve sustainable development, in line with its strategies and objectives.
