Gasoline and Diesel Prices Rise While Gas Price Declines in Lebanon

Beirut: Gasoline and diesel prices have edged up in Lebanon on Tuesday, as the price of 95-octane gasoline canister decreased by LBP 4,000, that of 98 octane by LBP 3,000, and that of diesel by LBP 1,000. Meanwhile, the price of the gas canister has decreased by LBP 6,000. Consequently, the new prices are as follows: 95 octanes: LBP 1,370,000, 98 octanes: LBP 1,409,000, Diesel: LBP 1,215,000, Gas: LBP 921,000.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, these changes reflect adjustments in the local fuel market dynamics. Citizens and businesses in Lebanon are responding to these shifts, as transportation and other fuel-dependent activities may be affected by the new pricing. The recent fluctuations come amid a broader conversation on energy costs and their impact on the Lebanese economy.
