Gaza: Medical sources announced Tuesday that the death toll from Israeli occupation forces' aerial attacks on different areas across the Gaza Strip has surged to 404 Palestinian civilians. They emphasized that the ongoing bombardment has resulted in at least 404 fatalities, including women and children. Additionally, numerous people remain trapped under the rubble of targeted buildings.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a total of 562 Palestinian civilians were reported injured due to a series of airstrikes and fire belts carried out by Israeli warplanes. The Israeli occupation forces launched a fresh wave of aerial attacks on the Gaza Strip after midnight, resuming the ongoing conflict after a two-month hiatus with widespread airstrikes that have so far claimed the lives of at least 400 Palestinian civilians, including children and women.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the resumption of the military operations on Gaza, which had ceased for two months following a fragile ceasefire agreement. Netanyahu further stated that the scope of the aerial airstrikes and intense bombardment is expected to gradually increase in the coming hours.
The escalation comes amid growing concerns over the worsening humanitarian crisis in the region, compounded by Israel's ongoing blockade and disruption of essential medical and humanitarian supplies. Since October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of more than 48,572 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 112,032 others.
