President Aoun Engages in Security and Diplomatic Discussions at Baabda Palace

Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, engaged in a series of meetings to address security and diplomatic issues on Tuesday. He met with MP Hassan Murad, Secretary-General of the Union Party, to discuss the security conditions along the northeastern and southern borders of the country, as well as the pressing needs in the Bekaa region.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun also welcomed the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Lebanon, Jiri Dolezel, at Baabda Palace for a farewell visit marking the conclusion of his diplomatic mission. During the meeting, Ambassador Dolezel highlighted the achievements made in strengthening Lebanese-Czech relations, particularly in terms of support to the Lebanese army.

President Aoun expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Dolezel for his contributions to enhancing bilateral relations and wished him success in his future endeavors. In another engagement, President Aoun met with Judge John Azzi, President of the Military Court of Cassation, to discuss general judicial affairs.
