GAZA CITY: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported a significant rise in casualties due to ongoing Israeli military actions, with the death toll reaching 42,500 and 99,546 individuals injured since the escalation of conflict on October 7, 2023. The Ministry highlighted a particularly devastating series of events within a 24-hour period. According to Maan News Agency, the Ministry detailed that four massacres were committed in the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in 62 deaths and 300 injuries. These casualties have added to the already critical situation in local hospitals, which are struggling to cope with the influx of wounded individuals. The ongoing conflict in the region has led to severe humanitarian concerns, with international calls for ceasefire and aid delivery intensifying. The situation on the ground remains dire as the frequency and scale of attacks continue to escalate.
