Beirut: Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Lebanon must prioritize internal solutions following the recent "catastrophic" events, urging the state to take responsibility and act decisively.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea criticized the tendency to limit reactions to mere condemnations and emphasized that resolving the crisis requires dismantling Hezbollah's military and security wings. He argued that these elements contradict Lebanon's constitution and international resolutions.
Geagea called on the government and President Joseph Aoun to take bold decisions aimed at restoring state authority. He warned that continued inaction on this front could lead to further destruction in the country.
