Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, received a phone call from his Greek counterpart, George Gerapetritis, where they discussed recent regional developments. During the conversation, Gerapetritis reaffirmed Greece's unwavering support for Lebanon at all levels and extended an official invitation for Minister Raggi to visit Athens.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Raggi expressed gratitude towards Gerapetritis for Greece's support. He specifically requested Greece's assistance, leveraging its current membership in the UN Security Council, to facilitate Israel's withdrawal from five disputed points along the southern border. Additionally, Raggi sought support for the renewal of the mandate for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
