Haider: Ceasefire First Step Toward Ending War, Calls for National Consensus and Reconstruction Plan

Haider: Labor Minister, Mohammad Haider, on Friday said Lebanon had called from the outset for any ceasefire in the region to include the country, expressing hope that the current 10-day truce would lead to a full end to the war.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in remarks to Sputnik radio, Haider stressed that the new phase requires national consensus to protect Lebanon, noting that domestic stability remains tied to regional developments.

Haidar highlighted the return of residents to southern villages as a sign of resilience, and said the government must support their return and prepare a reconstruction plan.
