Security Update: Ceasefire Violations Reported in South Lebanon, Shelling, Injuries and One Fatality

South lebanon: Israeli enemy reconnaissance aircraft have been flying since early morning on Friday over the western slopes of Mount Hermon and southern Rachaya district. Despite the ceasefire announced last night, artillery shelling struck Khiam, with five shells reported in a new violation. Prior to the truce, Deir Mimas was hit, with one shell setting part of a house on fire; civil defense teams contained the blaze with no casualties.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, an ambulance team came under fire in Kounine, causing injuries. A teenager was killed and another wounded by unexploded ordnance in Majdal Selm. Israeli forces also carried out a large-scale demolition operation in Khiam.
