HE First Lady of Pakistan Visits Royal Medical Services Military Hospital in Bahrain

Manama: As part of the official visit of His Excellency Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Her Excellency Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, First Lady of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, visited the Royal Medical Services Military Hospital.

According to Bahrain News Agency, she was received by Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services. Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa welcomed the First Lady and noted that the visit reflects the close relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, as well as the cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the health sector.

During the visit, the First Lady was briefed on a number of facilities and services provided by the Royal Medical Services. The tour included the Military Hospital Micro School, which supports child patients in continuing their education during treatment, as well as the paediatric ward, where she received an overview of the healthcare services and medical care provided to children in accordance with approved standards.

Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa underscored the significance of the visit and its role in highlighting the medical services provided by the Royal Medical Services.
