According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the airstrike specifically targeted an apartment located on the fourth floor of a building in Hazmieh. The strike occurred around 4:00 p.m., causing alarm among the local population and prompting immediate responses from emergency services.
Mayor Jean Asmar visited the site shortly after the incident to assess the situation. He confirmed that there was one fatality due to the airstrike, while reassuring that the other residents of the building were unharmed. Despite the safety of the residents, the mayor noted that the building had suffered significant material damage.
