Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported severe casualties resulting from continued Israeli airstrikes, with 52 people killed and 128 injured in the last 24 hours alone. This latest incident marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict, which has now extended into its 373rd day.
According to Maan News Agency, the Ministry detailed that these casualties resulted from what they described as four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip. The total number of fatalities since the beginning of the conflict on October 7 has now reached 42,227, with injuries totaling 98,464. The Ministry also highlighted the challenges faced by rescue operations, noting that many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded on roads, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense crews due to the ongoing airstrikes.
Israeli aircraft have continued their assaults across various areas of the Gaza Strip, contributing to the rising toll of what the Ministry of Health has termed as martyrs and wounded. The situatio
n remains dire, with emergency services struggling to cope with the scale of the humanitarian needs.
