Beirut: In an issued statement, Hezbollah denounced the "treacherous US-Israeli aggression" against Iran, calling it a violation of international law and an attempt to subdue Iran's sovereignty, nuclear rights, and defensive capabilities.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hezbollah described the attacks as part of a continued pattern of US-Israeli arrogance aimed at destabilizing the region and imposing dependency, asserting that the real issue is opposition to a strong, independent regional power rather than Iran's nuclear program.
Hezbollah's statement emphasized that the ongoing conflict, following the failure of the twelve-day war involving Israeli forces with American support, is not about Iran's nuclear ambitions. Instead, it is about resisting a robust, self-reliant state that maintains its sovereignty, supports oppressed peoples globally, and stands against Zionist-American schemes. The group criticized attempts to weaken regional entities, viewing them as precursors to occupation and colonial ambitions.
The statement further asserted that the aggression will only bolster Iran and its citizens, lauding their resilience and expressing full solidarity with Iran's leadership and population.
Hezbollah urged regional states and their populations to resist the aggression, cautioning that inaction could lead to severe regional repercussions. The statement concluded with confidence that American and Israeli forces will ultimately fail in their aggressive endeavors.
