Hezbollah: Targeting Merkava Tanks in Beit Lif, Al-Bayada, and Shamaa, Confronting Enemy Infiltration Attempts

Beirut: Hezbollah announced in a series of communiques that the Islamic Resistance targeted a Merkava tank in Khallet al-Jiwar, on the outskirts of Beit Lif, and two Merkava tanks in al-Bayyada with guided missiles, scoring direct hits. It added that the resistance fighters engaged an enemy force on the eastern outskirts of the town of Shamaa at point-blank range with light and medium weapons. A Merkava tank was also targeted with direct fire and was seen burning.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, an enemy force attempted to infiltrate the Al-Fariz area in the town of Ainata from the border town of Aitaroun. Upon reaching a pre-prepared ambush point in the Ghadmatha area, the Resistance detonated two explosive devices targeting the force's soldiers and vehicles, then engaged them with light and medium weapons and direct-fire rockets. Two Merkava tanks were also targeted with two swooping missiles, achieving direct hits, the communiques indicated.
