IDAL’s Mneimneh Discusses Development of Economic and Investment Relations with Pakistani Ambassador

Beirut: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), Dr. Majed Mneimneh, met with Pakistani Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, to discuss prospects for developing economic and investment relations between Lebanon and Pakistan.

According to a statement, the discussions focused on increasing investment in productive sectors, supporting entrepreneurship and startups, and leveraging Pakistan's experience in light industries, recycling, and manufacturing. The talks also addressed enhancing IDAL's role as a platform for fostering public-private partnerships, transferring technical expertise, facilitating the entry of Lebanese products into Asian markets, and attracting high-quality Pakistani investments in value-added sectors.

Mneimneh highlighted IDAL's commitment to creating a supportive and stimulating environment for investment. Meanwhile, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his country's desire to enhance institutional cooperation and expand its economic presence in Lebanon through joint projects and investments.
