Beirut: The Embassy of India in Beirut hosted the ITEC Day reception at VOCO Hotel, gathering a distinguished audience. The event was attended by HE Rayane El Ashkar, Head of Asia, Africa and Oceania Directorate of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Brigadier General Fady Abou Haidar from the Ministry of Defense, along with officials from various ministries, representatives from NGOs, universities, syndicates, media personnel, and ITEC alumni.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ambassador of India to Lebanon, HE Noor Rahman Sheikh, emphasized India's commitment to Lebanon's capacity building. He encouraged Lebanese citizens to take advantage of the courses offered by the Government of India.
Several ITEC alumni shared their experiences from the courses they attended in India, highlighting how they have applied their knowledge in their professional lives.
The event concluded with a cultural dance performance and a sampling of Indian cuisine, which was enjoyed by all attendees.
