Beirut: Minister of Industry Joe Issa El Khoury, on Monday received in his office at the ministry, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Lebanon, Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Saidi, with whom he discussed ways to enhance bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries, especially the issue of export and import.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on identifying potential areas for collaboration to boost economic ties between Lebanon and Oman. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening trade relations and exploring opportunities to facilitate smoother exchange of goods and services.
The discussions also touched upon removing trade barriers and creating a more conducive environment for businesses from both nations to thrive. The minister and the ambassador expressed their shared commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial economic relationship.
