Information Minister’s Tripoli Visit Set for Media and Cultural Engagements

Tripoli: Minister of Information, Attorney Dr. Paul Morcos, is scheduled to visit the northern city of Tripoli on Sunday, December 14. He will be accompanied by Tele Liban Chairperson and Director General, Dr. Elissar Naddaf.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the visit will commence at Beit Al Fan - Tripoli Al Mina, where a cultural festival is currently taking place. Minister Morcos will engage in a series of meetings and functions, starting at noon. His second stop will be at the Tripoli Governorate building (Al-Serail), where he will be welcomed by Acting North Lebanon Governor, Iman Al-Rafi'i.

At 5 p.m., Minister Morcos will proceed to the Rashid Karami International Fair. There, he will be received by the Chairman of the Fair's Board of Directors, Dr. Hani Shaarani. The visit will include a media gathering and open dialogue with media professionals from North Lebanon, focusing on media and cultural affairs related to Tripoli.

The day will also feature the opening ceremony of a recital by artist Tania Kassis at 7 p.m. Minister Morcos will conclude his Tripoli tour with a dinner banquet hosted for media professionals from the North, organized by the "Kouraniyat" Association.
