Interior Minister Engages with Lawmakers and Local Leaders on Developmental Matters

Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Hajjar, on Tuesday engaged in discussions with lawmakers and local leaders at his office in the ministry. The meetings highlighted developmental affairs and regional issues that are of importance to various stakeholders.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Hajjar met with MPs Tony Frangieh, Yanal Solh, Hassan Mrad, and Ghassan Hasbani. The discussions with the lawmakers reportedly focused on the general situation and pressing developmental issues that require attention.

In another meeting, Minister Hajjar conferred with Abdel Halim Karima, the Head of Tripoli Municipality. Their discussion centered on the developmental and security needs of Tripoli, a northern city facing various challenges. This meeting underscored the minister's commitment to addressing regional concerns and fostering sustainable development.

Further, the minister welcomed Zeina Frem, President of the Jounieh International Festival, along with her delegation. This engagement reflects the ministry's interest in supporting cultural initiatives and festivals that contribute to the social and economic vitality of the region.
