Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister, Ahmad Hajjar, on Saturday visited Bint Jbeil Serail, where he was briefed on the progress of the electoral process by District Commissioner Charbel Alameh, in the presence of Governor Howaida Turk.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Hajjar's visit aimed to ensure the smooth functioning of the election day activities and to address any logistical challenges. His presence underscored the importance of transparent and efficient electoral procedures in the region.
During his visit, Minister Hajjar engaged with local officials to discuss the status of voting and the measures in place to ensure a seamless process. The discussions focused on maintaining order and security throughout the day and addressing any voter concerns that might arise.
District Commissioner Charbel Alameh provided an update on the voter turnout and highlighted the cooperation between different governmental bodies to facilitate the election process. Governor Howaida Turk emphasized the commitment of local authorities to uphold the integrity of the election.
