Beirut: The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities released updated voter turnout rates for the ongoing municipal and mukhtar elections in South Lebanon and Nabatieh Governorates. As of the latest report, turnout rates were as follows: Jezzine recorded a turnout of 33%, Sidon and Nabatieh both showed a turnout of 29%, Hasbaya had a 26% turnout, Tyre reported a 25% turnout, Marjayoun saw a turnout of 22%, and Bint Jbeil had the lowest turnout at 19%.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ministry continues to monitor polling stations across the two governorates as the electoral process unfolds. The updated voter turnout figures provide insight into the level of electoral engagement within these regions, reflecting varying degrees of participation across different areas.
