Iran President to Visit Pakistan on Tuesday: State Media

Islamabad: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will travel to Pakistan on Tuesday, state media reported, following talks between Tehran and Washington in Switzerland which were mediated by Islamabad.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the visit aims to express appreciation to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for "his mediation between Iran and the United States." Habibollah Abbasi, director of public relations at the president's office, highlighted this objective through the IRNA state news agency.

The discussions in Switzerland mark a significant diplomatic engagement with Pakistan playing a crucial mediating role. The details of the talks remain undisclosed, but the Iranian president's visit underscores the importance of Pakistan's involvement in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States.
