Islamic Resistance Launches Multiple Rocket Attacks on Israeli Soldiers and Settlements

Beirut: The Islamic Resistance conducted a series of rocket attacks targeting Israeli soldiers and settlements on Thursday, October 17, 2024, as part of their ongoing support for the Palestinian cause and in response to Israeli military actions. The group targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers at the gate of the Misgav Am settlement and in the town of Blida, and also shelled the Ramot Naftali settlement. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance issued three separate statements detailing their attacks. Statement No. (10) revealed that at 2:00 p.m., the fighters launched a rocket salvo at a gathering of Israeli soldiers stationed at the gate of the Misgav Am settlement. This attack marked the second occurrence at the same location. Following this, the group released statement No. (11), stating that another rocket attack was carried out at 3:00 p.m. against Israeli soldiers in the town of Blida. Shortly thereafter, statement No. (12) was issued, explaining that the Ramot Naftali set tlement was targeted with rockets at the same hour. These military actions by the Islamic Resistance were described as measures "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people," as well as a response to "the Israeli enemy's attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes."
