JORDAN VALLEY: Tuesday, January 30, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation authorities Tuesday imposed a fine on a Palestinian citizen of the northern Jordan Valley in exchange for returning his vehicle. An activist in the Popular Resistance Committees, Ayman Gharib, said that Israeli occupation authorities imposed a fine of NIS4,774 shekels on local resident Ahmed Awad from the Umm al-Jimal area in the northern Jordan Valley, in order to get his vehicle back that had been impounded for two months. It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities have escalating messures of seizing citizens' vehicles, property, and livestock during the recent period in the Jordan Valley areas, and are imposing heavy fines on them to get them back.
