Israeli Airstrike in Nmiriyeh Kills Six Members of Same Family

Nmiriyeh: The southern Lebanese town of Nmiriyeh awoke to the aftermath of a deadly Israeli enemy airstrike that killed six members of the same family after a residential building in the town's Ghabra neighborhood was struck and destroyed.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the strike targeted the home of Ahmad Hassan Hamdan while the family had gathered for the iftar meal. Those killed were Hamdan, his daughters Kawthar, Fatima, and Batoul, as well as two children, Jihad and the infant Fatima Abbas Zayour. Hamdan's wife, Najiba Abbas Aloul, remains missing under the rubble.

Civil defense and ambulance teams from several relief organizations are continuing search and rescue operations at the site.
