Israeli Airstrike in Southern Lebanon Results in Casualties and Hospital Damage

BEIRUT: An Israeli airstrike near Rafic Hariri Hospital in southern Lebanon late Monday resulted in the deaths of at least four people, including a child, and injured 32 others, as confirmed by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The attack caused considerable damage to the hospital, adding to the ongoing tensions in the region. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on multiple locations across southern Lebanon. These strikes are part of the daily military confrontations that have been occurring between the resistance and Israeli occupation forces since October 2023. The conflict has seen a marked escalation, reaching its peak on September 23, with significant material and human losses reported on both sides.
