Sharjah Charity International Allocates AED25.8 Million for Medical Aid

SHARJAH: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has dedicated AED25.8 million to its medical aid programmes, aiming to support individuals in need across the UAE by covering the treatment costs of numerous patients. This substantial financial commitment underscores the organization's focus on healthcare assistance. According to Emirates News Agency, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of SCI, emphasized that the organization's mission, guided by the vision of its founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, prioritizes medical aid initiatives. Bin Khadim reported that SCI has provided medical treatment for 1,204 patients in the UAE during the first nine months of this year, at a total expense of AED25.8 million. This marks an increase from the 853 cases treated over the same period last year.
