Jabalia: In a devastating airstrike carried out by Israeli forces, at least 16 civilians, including women and children, have been reported dead with dozens more injured. The attack targeted the Abu Hussein Elementary School in Jabalia camp, which currently serves as a shelter for displaced individuals. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the school, affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), was housing many displaced persons when it was hit. The strike not only resulted in significant casualties but also raised concerns about the safety of civilian shelters in conflict zones. This incident follows another attack earlier in the day where at least three Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on a tent at a different school located east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip. These successive attacks have escalated tensions and highlighted the dire situation of civilians in the region.
