Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza’s Jabalia Camp Result in 33 Deaths and 85 Injuries

GAZA CITY: An Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia camp in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of 33 civilians, including 21 children and women, and left more than 85 others injured. The assault targeted residential buildings in the northern region of the Gaza Strip, causing significant casualties and raising concerns over an escalating death toll as many of the injured are in critical condition and dozens remain trapped under debris.

According to Kuwait News Agency, local authorities have warned that the number of fatalities could increase due to the severity of injuries sustained by many victims. The Israeli military has intensified its airstrikes and artillery shelling across several areas of the Gaza Strip, leading to the deaths of 95 people and injuries to nearly 400 others on Friday alone.

The ongoing military campaign by Israeli forces, which began on October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 42,595 citizens and injuries to 99,946 individuals, with a significant proportion of the victims being children
and women. The continued violence has led to mounting international calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian intervention.
